[26 Mar 2009|02:06am] GIRLS, GIRLS, GIRLS cabotadmissions is in desperate need of female faculty and staff. WHERE ARE THE LADIES AT? TEACHERS should be 27+, with PBs who look that age. OTHER STAFF MEMBERS (secretaries, food service, security, janitors, librarians, etc.) may be 21+. We could also use more female SENIORS (17-19). There are only five in play right now, and graduation (and the deadline for applying for seniors) is CLOSE!!!! Come on ladies. There aren't enough gay guys here to support the sausage fest this game has turned into. post comment

[26 Mar 2009|12:49pm] Welcome to Horrorwood Rules | Application | Taken | Reserved | Locations | Accepted/Banned | For Players | You wake up disoriented and in an abandoned theatre. The large and empty screen ahead is your only source of light as you try to figure out how and why you’ve arrived here. Your last recollection before your dreamless night was lying down in your bed and drifting off to sleep. You thought you were safe. As you make your way to the outside you notice the sky a gloomy overcast that’s threatening rain, but the weather isn’t what bothers you; it’s that concrete wall surrounding the premises that has you worried. In the distance you can spot four tall buildings and even an Amusement Park, yet, as you continue to explore, any trace of an exit seems almost impossible. You’re trapped here. Walking further you suddenly hear a disembodied cry of something horrible; something deadly, and it sounds hungry. Adrenaline pumping through your veins you stop and look for the source of the noise, but can’t find anything. You continue to walk forward, thinking it’s all in your head, thinking maybe you’re being paranoid, but another retching scream calls out; now it’s right behind you. And suddenly you realize that the threat is real and you better be quick on your feet if you plan to survive. “Horrorwood” is a panfandom horror roleplay that takes place in an alternate city very similar to that of Hollywood, California, with the exception that the place has been barricaded from the outside world and is crawling with all too real monsters. Good guys, and even the bad guys, wake up to find themselves trapped and relying desperately on their keen survival instincts. You’ll make friends, or you’ll make enemies, but be careful who you decide to befriend. In the year 2008, a virus swept North America. Ever vigilant for a pandemic, citizens boarded up their windows, stockpiled their canned goods, and turned their neighbors in to the CDC. Short wave radios fell off the shelves, evacuation routes were prepared. Gas masks and specialty filtration systems were distributed. Pills were available for those showing early symptoms. Pills that did not work. That were later replaced with cyanide as their active ingredient. For those who were brave enough to put their fingers near a loved one's mouth. The United States, Canada, Mexico, the virus swept down into South America and festered in the heat of the jungle. In some places it burned out. Superstition ruled and saved lives. But nothing stopped the virus. You wake up to the crackle of dead airwaves. Three months after the first diagnosed case of Currere Excessum was recorded, NATO approved Great Britain's use of nuclear force against the United States. It was assumed that all organic material would be reduced to ash under the impact. It was assumed that the Quarantine of the Americas would be temporary, at best. A few days later you think you back to your childhood and there's a memory that doesn't fit, it doesn't make sense and you try not to think about it because it sets you and edge and makes you feel uncomfortable. It doesn't stop. Maybe weeks go by, or maybe it's months, and someone turns up on your doorstep. Maybe they look official, or they're wearing jeans and a T-Shirt, but they introduce themselves and tell you that they're from something called 'The Agency', they sit you down and if you're lucky they'll make you a cup of tea or pour you a drink before explaining it all to you. [26 Mar 2009|07:15pm] Wanted: Romeo, Julius Caesar, Lysander, Hermia, Demetrius, Benedick, PROFESSORS & MANY MORE! The spirit of Shakespearean Theatre lives on in Stratford, Ontario in Canada. Established in 1915, was the Stratford Liberal Arts University. The school where your favorite characters from William Shakespeare's plays enroll or teach. Tragedy has struck the school this year when the President of the University, Hamilton Prince Sr. died under mysterious circumstances during the summer. To make the it more controversial, the late President was replaced by his brother Claudius Prince, who married widow Gertrude Prince only a couple months after the tragic death. The staff are nervous to see the affect this will have on English Professor, and only son of the former President, Hamilton Prince Jr. So far the school has tried to go back to normal. The Winter Semester has just started. The winter productions will be starting rehearsals soon, and all the classes are already going underway. Soon enough, it will be midterms. The Student Union has gone through changes, since Duncan Scott was kicked out of school, leaving Nathaniel Bath to take over as President of the Student Union. Student life seems to be getting more hectic and full of stress and the Professor's lives aren't much easier. With all the controversy and strange coincidences, will they be able to make it through the year? Follow your favorite plots, or create some more drama for yourself. In Ancient Greece, the gods were admired, feared, and respected. It has been centuries since humans worshiped them, centuries since people truly believed in them. Now they're nothing more than myths and cold marble status resting in museums or in squares gathering dust. Zeus and the rest of the Gods have made a decision: To come down from Mount Olympus disguised as mortals, as they used to do in the past. It became time that the Gods had fun again...
