Mutant High, an X-Men RPG [18 Dec 2008|12:57am]

They were his first X-Men. Now they'll become his first teachers at the newly formed Xavier's Institute, a haven for the mutant kids that the world shuns.

Mutant High is loosely based on the X-Men: Evolution premise. Upon graduating college Xavier's group of X-Men, young adults who had been helping him safeguard the world from mutant and human threats alike, all received a message. Gathering them together, Xavier explained his vision; he wanted to create a school, a safehaven for young mutants where they could receive an education and be taught to control their powers simultaneously. He'd seen too many young mutants cast out into lives of crime and persecuted for their abilities. Xavier wanted to help them. He invited all of his X-Men to join him in his mission, to help create the school in he huge mansion situated at 1407 Graymalkin Lane. With young mutants quickly flooding in Xavier remains optimistic as he oversees this ongoing process.

The game has just opened and is going strong! We'd love to see some more characters soon, especially an Iceman to join the rest of the original X-Men.

Tired of those games that are purely meant for shipping purposes and barely focus on the events of the first war? We are, and that is exactly why we have created Waddiwasi.

Tidbits of information is all we have been given, tiny nuances to sustain us, but what about the fine details? What really happened during the First War when You-Know-Who was at his peak and the Wizarding World was barely staying above water? The individual stories of those during that time and the conflicts they had were never written, but they certainly existed. Students just out of Hogwarts viewed the world with endless possibilities; some acquired jobs, found a place to live, settled down and had a family, while others made their parents proud, took the Dark Mark, and joined an organisation which promised to restore the wizarding world to its former glory.

So join us and let's write their history, a complete history, of the events that happened that affected the fate of the wizarding world forever.

Tangled Skeins: A Supernatural Panfandom [18 Dec 2008|08:00am]
the PANFANDOM
There are signs that warn people that something lurks out there; the icy feeling in your chest, the prickling of your hair, and the feeling of being watched. The only problem is, they may not just believe it, but they know that it is true. There is a darker side to the world that you thought you knew. So be fearful of the night, trust in what you feel - for evil does exist, and nightmares can be real.

The story is simple: the supernatural world does exist where there are many supernatural races or species that have secretly existed alongside humanity for thousands of years; vampires, witches, werewolves, demons. You were told there was nothing out there to fear in the dark, you were told wrong because they are all around us hidden in everyday life, whether it is morning or night. Your teacher could be one, so could your boyfriend or girlfriend.

Ghosts? They're real. Werewolves and shapeshifters? Those too. Hell, even vampires used to be real - and some even say they're still around. Demons? Those sons of bitches just won't stay gone. Everything you've ever thought was a myth or an urban legend? They're real (except, you know, Sasquatch; everyone knows that's fake). These things lurk in the shadows, they're in your closet, under your sink, in your basement, in the woods - they're very real and very deadly. There's good news though, because for as long as poltergeists have been fucking with your plumbing, hunters have been around to take care of the problem. While the rest of the world is left in the proverbial (and sometimes literal) dark, hunters are out there. Knee-deep in the supernatural filth that haunts the world, they hunt down the things that most people only think exist in nightmares. They hunt them down, and then they kill them.

It's a dirty, deadly job, but someone's gotta do it.

Welcome to The Quidditch Village

In December 2003, the Ministry of Magic decided to hold a Quidditch Tournament with the old four teams when Harry Potter was a member. All four Hogwarts Teams decided to go, although some notable players were missing as they had died in battle, they still went to Hogwarts on April 14th. It was meant to be a fun way to start a new tradition of bring past players to the Hogwarts Pitch.

As Oliver Wood, Marcus Flint, Roger Davies, and Zacharias Smith walked to the center to shake hands, the teams surrounded them in a circle. That's when it happened. To the 28 players standing on the pitch it felt as though the ground had fallen out from beneath them. It was almost like a dream as they landed just outside a village. They all looked around trying to figure out what had happened. Seconds later an old woman who wouldn't show her face walked up to them, some had their wands drawn, some were just watching, some were getting ready to cry. As the old woman opened her mouth to speak, two figures started to walk towards her...

"Welcome, it is about time you showed up. We've been waiting for you. Welcome to your new home. You are tasked with completing a tournament and figuring out life here. You all have a room, and a job. Don't worry, time here isn't what you are used to. You will not miss anything from the world you are from.

There are two additional players here, they will take their rightful spots on Hufflepuff and Gryffindor. The two who have come in their place will act as substitutes for all four teams." The old woman smiled at them, and the two men flanking her showed their faces... Cedric Diggory and Fred Weasley. Each has been here since their respected deaths, growing to the age they would have been in your world."

Each player was quickly assigned a room, a journal to communicate in that also tells them when practice and matches are, and a day job... There is no trading, it is merely what the lives of these 30 Quidditch players now lead... With the promise as soon as a winner is announced they can go home....

Let the Games Start...

CASUAL BOND 23 GAME
Opening January 3rd
The Game Mainframe The Lines The OOC

'The bitch is dead.' Bond has moved on, rewarded with a nice week-long vacation for his part in uncovering Quantum. After all, a good rest is the most potent weapon in the history of mankind and prevention the best treatment—especially the case when it comes to traumatic stress and all that psychobabble. Great opportunity to recuperate emotional and physical stability, et cetera, right? Wrong. While relaxing on the shores of Mykonos, Bond finds himself being watched by a stranger who, upon an overdramatised confrontation, admits as such. He also makes an irresistible business proposition, offering up the culprit of an assassination that has yet to occur.

Sure enough, MI6 soon finds on their hands the suspicious death of a defector of considerable importance. With the stranger's words as their only lead, Bond is tipped off to Dr. Elizabeth Hildebrand, a double agent planted in Whitehall. It is quickly established that Hildebrand is, indeed, acting on behalf of a foreign government. But is she responsible for the assassination as well or merely a pawn in a bigger game with far greater stakes than would appear?

URGENTLY NEEDED: Hildebrand, Kristoff, Masters
