| Crynhoi: An AU Harry Potter Trio Era Game |
Voldemort is dead and Harry Potter is missing, assumed to be the same by most. The brave souls that fought have been mourned and The-Boy-Who-Lived has been celebrated as the hero of heroes. But now what? School's starting up again this September, but things are going to be a little bit different. Hogwarts is in no shape for students, so everyone's being shipped off to another location. A school called Sangster Institute! Headmistress McGonagall has some done away with the House system. Don't worry, Quidditch still exists and she hasn't forgotten the kids that didn't get a chance at taking their NEWTs. You can't get out of your Nastily Exhausting Wizarding Tests that easily. But the students feel at a constant unease in their new enviroment, even Aurors were sent. Do they have a reason to be so unnerved?
WANTED CHARACTERS Desperately Seeking: Quidditch players and Prefects, Students with loses and/or imprisoned family, anyone that still holds a grudge for losing the battle or even against those that lost. Most Wanted: Luna Lovegood (to crazy up those 'Claws!), Katie Bell (Alicia and our other alumni would love her around), Hannah (Neville, Ernie and the other DAs miss her), Micheal Corner (Terry and Lisa are lonesome!), Draco (To mourn Crabbe and do what he will with his peers, Blaise and Millicent)

This game is a Harry Potter Deathly Hallows game. We are DH compliant to a degree. We are also establishing more, such as the London school and the new location for the Hogwarts replacement school. There will be some inconsistencies which we are adding intentionally. We are friendly to all genders, sexualities, and races. Past events, both book!canon and game!canon can be found at the timeline. |

It is September of 2001. It has been just past two years since Harry Potter defeated Lord Voldemort. Life has slowly begun to return to normal. Witches and wizards everywhere no longer have to look over their shoulders constantly. It's time to focus on careers, relationships, and just moving on in general.
AMORTENTIA? Something strange begins to brew in the wizarding community. People suddenly begin to get sick, reporting symptoms that include a combination of fever or chills, slight hair loss, bright pink spots, itching, and hallucinations. What starts as a small outbreak begins to spread quickly throughout various towns and even Hogwarts, baffling Healers. If untreated, the disease can be fatal. These conditions have no known catalyst and, even more frightening, no known cure. It is highly contagious.
COMING SOON? After some time it will be discovered that the horrific new disease is linked with the love potion Amortentia, and thus referred to as the "Love Plague." Treatment will be developed to hold the disease at bay, but no cure is in sight. Who has unleashed this diabolical weapon upon the wizarding community? Is there any hope to stop this twisted plot? The answers to these questions lie in the brave and noble witches and wizards who must now stand up to solve this mystery and will sacrifice all in the name of the peace Harry Potter brought them...

They weren't sure what caused it, just that it happened. A spill. Not lethal-- not enough to kill anyone. It was hardly enough to make anyone sick, really. So the powers that be, let it be. It was going to be too hard to clean up anyways. And the public turmoil it would have caused--! Too much trouble for one little, teensy mishap. It wasn't hard to cover it up. They made up for the lost chemicals by claiming they used too much in another project. When push came to shove, the scientists at the plant went into great (fake) detail, and no more questions were asked.
It wasn't until they realized that it'd gotten into the drinking supply that they started getting worried. People began showing up at the clinics and the hospital with shortness of breath, stomach bugs, and headaches. 'These things are normal in the summer months,' the doctors told the patients, and they went home unhelped. Sure, they were normal-- stomach bugs and headaches. But was it normal for a cut to heal overnight? Or fire to just spontaneously burst from a hand? Doubtful.
And it wasn't just a few people. It was the entire town of Bristol, Rhode Island that was affected. Everyone who had a sip to drink from the tap or cooked spaghetti or showered. Everyone.
How will the town cope with their new powers? Will they take advantage of them or refuse to embrace their fates? Will the entire population turn into a giant battle of good vs. evil?
One thing is for sure. There's something in the water....

People all over the world are beginning to discover they have special abilities. Some are thrilled by the fact that they are different than everyone else and some aren't so thrilled. That's not all there is to it, though. A Company is trying to study these people and find out what causes their special ability, though not everyone comes out of the company. Are they trapped or are they even alive?
A power greedy serial killer is just another risk, among others.
Can these evolved humans unite to stop the terrors from rising?
Seven Minutes After Midnight is a slightly canon/slightly AU game that starts at canon time October 2006 and goes through the lives of these people. Where will their paths lead from there?
