[22 Apr 2008|10:30am] May 2, 1998. The end of the war. The day considered to signify the importance the light side has against the dark side. Blood was shed and casualties were accumulated by both sides. But the end result was that Harry Potter had finally defeated the Dark Lord Voldemort and there would be no need to worry about anything like this happening again. Under the leadership of the newly-appointed Minister of Magic, Kingsley Shacklebolt, those students that hadn't passed the N.E.W.T. exams due to the war were given the opportunity to take the exams the following year. Only if passed were the students allowed to take up their choice of occupation. The Minister also enacted another law that affected the recent graduates, as well. They would have to live in London or its suburbs in order for the Ministry to keep a tab on them. This was because the Ministry needed to be absolutely certain that there would be no formation of cults that could eventually lead to the next uprising. These young adults are forced to disclose all their personal information to the Ministry, such as birth name, date of birth, spouse (or significant other), address of residence, occupation, et cetera. Those that refuse to disclose the information are watched over with extra precaution. And in return, to keep everyone happy, the Ministry compensates monetarily to those that cooperate. But not everyone is happy with the situation that is presented to them. Mostly, the unhappy people don't want to stay in London or its suburbs, due to other obligations. They are trying to bring down the law and hope that it happens soon enough so that they can get on with their lives. Now that the year is 2002, will they succeed or just be pushed back into their places by the Ministry? [22 Apr 2008|09:16pm] It's 2006 and Alice is busy planning a wedding, Bella is busy trying to figure out if she's really ready for everything, Jacob is finally back home but hurting and still pinning over Bella, and Heidi is about to set up camp in Port Angeles. The Volturi are a lot more interested in Bella and the Cullens than the Cullens think. They have been debating how to go about making sure Bella is changed, and new hunting ground. The story starts a week or so before Heidi comes to America with two other Volturi members. Rachel Black comes home and everything appears to be calming down. That is until more vampires show up... Not just the three Volturi, but the Denali family come down from Alaska for a visit to the Cullen's. They want to know why they've heard rumors about the Volturi coming States side.... Meanwhile the humans are just caught in the middle of mythological battles. Let the tale begin. Humanity Lost: A Post Apoc/Metahuman Rp [22 Apr 2008|10:10pm] It's the end of the world as we know it. Will you be able to survive? It's the year 2013 and humans with superpowers are common place. The government had installed a registration program to keep track of these metahumans. Only problem was that most didn't take kindly to it. Banded together, metahumans rose up against the governments of the world and started a new world war. In a last ditch effort to win, the United States released a virus. The virus killed metahumans and humans alike. When the dust settled, only a small percentage of the world's population was left. Cities were left in ruin. Now it's up to those left to continue on and try to make a life out of what is left. Who will rise up to try and make a new world? Metas or humans? Humanity Lost is a post apocalypse roleplaying game that doesn't take place months or weeks after it happens but picks up in the direct aftermath. The group majority left standing are metahumans, humans with super human powers. If you like X-Men or other Marvel Comics, DC Comics, Heroes, The 4400, or other such fandoms, this rp might be for you.
