generationxy [28 Jan 2008|12:56am] Main Community 'generation xy'|Rules|Taken/Wanted|How to Hold a Character|Application Community Idea and Information This an m-preg community, meaning no females are allowed. A plague was enforced by a company. 'If you got the money honey we have your disease'. What if this deathly illness really wasn't a something the world created but instead the parents of our characters went to this company to get what they needed whether it be love, fame, or fortune. However, with their curse, potion or disease, they hurt their children in the process.'If you want it you're gonna bleed, but it's the price you pay' Instead of just the first born being affected, all children who were the offspring of these parents who went to the company were. The children of the parents who didn't go to the company were not affected. This change would kill all daughters either way, but eventually because of the animosity, and the government thinking it was a plague, their vaccine killed many, leading to the death of the rest of the women because it didn't react well with them. Some Men Die, but others are created as Breeders or stay as Non-Breeders. Government engineered ‘a Pairing up’ amendment (breeder/non-breeder): Registration is required so it's known they're a couple legally. Any non-breeders that are sterile must be cleared by a doctor and Moderators. Sterile Non-breeders may be paired together if moderators approve. Any Non-sterile Breeders may be paired with a breeder, must be documented by doctor and approves by Moderators. Adoptions may be available upon request, but ONLY sterile non-breeder couples get first priority. Also Must be approved by Moderators. Definitions: Breeder: Able to carry offspring, they have been changed internally to have a uterus, outer appearances are up to the breeders themselves. They will all still be men with minor differences. They are most commonly sterile, but their are rare occurrences. These occurrences must be discussed with the moderators for permission. Their Sperm is sterile, but not their uterus. Non-Breeder: Not Able to carry offspring, but able to reproduce as usual. Nothing has changed, they are still men, some are considered sterile because of the vaccine, but most are not. It's a 10% chance they're sterile, but this is up to the character and the moderators. It was almost like everything was back to normal. The year before had become a distant memory as the students of Hogwarts returned to school with nothing to focus themselves on besides the every constant rumors that floated through the hallways, their social lives and, of course, actual schoolwork. Voldemort is gone, though some of his followers are still on the run or keeping to themselves to avoid attention. It’s almost as though it’s become another era, a happier one. Without a war to worry about, the student body keeps itself busy by paying closer attention to the latest gossip or scandal going around the school, passing notes or sharing comments through their journals. New friendships and relationships are made, and Hogwarts has never been quite like this before. Set in the trio's seventh year, RIDDIKULUS focuses on the school life and social interactions of the Harry Potter characters. We have a diverse cast, raging from those who thrive on gossip, to those who prefer to keep to themselves and their schoolwork, to the ones who love creating mayhem for the heck of it... and everything in between. → Following up where snoggers left off, this game is canon up until HBP with details of the end of the war from Deathly Hallows. [28 Jan 2008|11:30am] OPENED 20 APRIL, 2007. PLOT RULES CHARACTERS PBs APPLICATION The students who attended Hogwarts throughout the 1970s faced numerous challenges. They found themselves in a world on the brink of war. Upon entering the school, some were taking their first steps into a magical world that was completely foreign to them. Others had lived in it all their lives and were about to leave the safety of Hogwarts to see what the world had in store for them. How will these students react to the world that is constantly changing around them? Who will they become and what roles will they take up as the times shift? It is in their power to answer these questions. We know a little of what they will do outside of Hogwarts. Let's see how they got there. This is a canon school-oriented Marauders-Era RPG that does recognize Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. It's January of 1972 and the Marauders are in their first year! [28 Jan 2008|01:34pm] MOD RPG OOC AU BACKSTORY CHARACTERS RULES APPLICATION PBs INFO BUTTON CONTACTS When the Dark Lord Voldemort died, he released a wave of magic. A sort of magic no one had record of, intensely powerful and with incredible ability and desire to correct the mistakes of the past and to punish those that had made them. He hoped to send himself into his body from twenty years earlier - which he did successfully. The brain of the Dark Lord in December, 1976 was suddenly filled with knowledge from the following twenty years. Sufficient knowledge, in fact, to attempt to kill Harry Potter and his friends one last time. Knowledge that put him at a great advantage over all the others in the time period. Or so he thought. Though intelligent and meticulous, the magic pouring forth from Lord Voldemort at the time of his death was uncontrolled and went in all directions. Adults were hit, including the recently deceased and nearly dead, sending their souls spiraling back in time. Even this would have been below Voldemort's radar, he would have found the knowledge of others unimportant compared to his own, and thus having his followers by his side would help him little. What he didn't expect was an added blessing - young people of Harry's generation were pulled back in time right along with him. Unlike the adults, however, who had an existing body to land in, the children of his time appeared seemingly from nowhere. There was no explanation for the students to appear in this way - sprawled across the grounds outside of Hogwarts Castle, in varying states of injury and disarray. Dumbledore took them in and immediately their tale was told. It was winter holidays, so many of the students from Hogwarts had already gone home, leaving the castle largely empty. The few stragglers witnessed the arrival of these new students, but they were quickly silenced while Dumbledore helped Harry and his friends come up with a cover story. They would claim to be homeschooled students, and would be given pseudonyms. The story would be that Hogwarts was opening its doors for the first time ever to late admittances, on account of the increasing danger that witches and wizards were facing in the world. They were, under no circumstances, to tell anyone what their true story was. Secrecy was key. They didn't know how or why they'd been sent back in time, but it was obvious the level of danger they faced if they weren't careful. Of course, Voldemort would not be fooled for long... and he had a whole new agenda this time around, with Harry Potter at the center of it. Began: December 20th, 2007! post comment

[28 Jan 2008|04:11pm] ANOMALOUS Game History x Rules x FAQ x App x Held x Cast x Contact/F-Button Started in July, Anomalous was a long running game on GJ which, due to the fact the we have dedicated previous members, was petitioned to be brought back from the dead... PREMISE –adjective 1. deviating from or inconsistent with the common order, form, or rule; irregular; abnormal: Advanced forms of life may be anomalous in the universe. 2. not fitting into a common or familiar type, classification, or pattern; unusual. Welcome to a world influenced by power. There are no superhuman heroes, no dastardly villains here. You may be used to hearing stories of people joining secret teams and forming legions, flying around on planes, but this is not a comic book. This is a generation of gifted humans who, in the past year, have lost their once normal lives. Some of these "mutations" were worse than others, but together they all are united in the fact that their lives will never be the same again. People began to notice things wrong with themselves. Wounds would heal faster, massive headaches would ensue, and suddenly they were in a different room. A man prayed to God that the next time he opened his eyes, his glance wouldn't destroy whatever fell within his gaze. When the American government found out about these "super beings", one thing stood in mutual agreement; they were a threat. Like all threats, they must be contained and exposed of. The general public, perpetually afraid of the different and strange, spawned hate crimes that spread like wild fire. This evolutionary jump wasn't just isolated to the United States. All over the world, people began to realize their true potential. Foriegn governments are trying to recruit them to military forces, wanting nothing more than to control them. Scientists search out these special people, their intentions both good and bad. What was once considered normalcy has been corrupted. Questions with no anwers are on the tip of everyone's tongue: How, or why; are they connected? Is there a greater purpose, be it dark or light, that they must face? Arguments of the rights belonging to these once normal beings began the hot debate for political meetings. Should they be required to register, and if they had too strong of an ability should they be "dealt with"? Already, many of these "freaks", as some would call them, were using their powers for personal gain, and there was a concern that it would escalate. They would rob, they would cheat, and they would kill to seek vengence. Then there were those who tried to stay out of the limelight, frightened of their powers and the consequences that came with them. And there were those who found these powers as a way to gain attention, using them to save lives and get their name flashed on the evening news. There has also been more signifigant damage. An earthquake has, for the most part, destroyed Sussex, New York. In response to this disaster, a panel was formed. These individuals are now one of the driving powers behind the future of the Anomalous. Some of the memebers would see these super-powered humans destroyed, or rounded up. While others are secretly fighting to keep their own freedom. Senetor Kelly, the main force behind ostracizing the Anomalous, was wounded at his own birthday celebration. Many other people were hurt...some were killed. The blame for this "attack" was placed on this new brand of humanity. Laws were passed, to help protect the citizens of New York. The first, the Heddison Law, prohibits any use of Anomalous ability against any member of city law enforcement. The second is the Couventry Law, restricing the use of power at any group function or public event. For the last month, there has been peace. With no violent outbursts from either side, New York City is holding a collective breath. Who will make the next move? These are The Anomalous - the changed, the powerful, the revolutionized. WANTED Males, as always. Our Wanda mun really wants a Pietro. I personally would like to see someone take Shadowcat, Rogue, Jean Grey and Husk. Perhaps start a medley of generation Xers, since, Monet, Jubilee and Chamber are taken. We would love to see more characters whose powers haven't manifested yet and SO MANY MORE! Incorporate the older alumni into the school however you want, or you can play them out of the school. The game is based on HET smut and relationships. The war is over, Voldemort is dead but Death Eaters and his supporters are still around and on the run. We like detailed writers even if it's a smutty game. The year is 1997 and the game will start on the 2nd of September when classes are getting started. Deaths from Deathly Hallows are void and all the characters are up for grabs. Yes, we have rules! Canon peronalities and relationships are required. While it's a smut game with some crack value, we want THAT canon touch. This means H/G, R/Hr, etc. If you don't like those, sorry. How long will the 'peace' of the humans last when the demons clash so violently with the vampires that the earth itself shudders in horror? Arillius is the first of the mortal realm to feel the effects of the war - the first city to feel the affects of the war. The humans are beginning to take notice of the rise in crime, the tense feeling which has wrapped the island up in a blanket. The Demos currently rule over the Beyond - a vampire family known for there ruthless nature and violent ways. They have little mercy for those who have wronged them and if you are not open in your support you will get little more than cold civility from them. Against the Demos stands the Merhites and the Elwyn. The Merhites stand against the Demos as rightful rulers of the Beyond, the throne having been snatched from their grasp some three hundred years ago. Panfandom RPG [28 Jan 2008|08:47pm] Panfandom RPG As they all came together at the conference to speak about what could be done about evolution and making sure it didn't go too far and it matured naturally, she fell through the rift. A girl - no a woman - something in between. After a short span of tests it was concluded she was perfect in every way but one. She was a ticking time bomb. Almost literally. Someone or something had created her to be perfect in every way but go off and destroy everything and not on the "Peter destroy New York of Heroes" type of way. She also had something else about her. She had angelic quality, she had qualities of every person in the room in her, a touch of everyone like she had been engineered them. With no answers from her but her name and that - for "The Doctor" was enough to shatter his world, the group raced with no time and little to go on. (...This is just the beginning....
