"Some places just seem to be that way. You know, mystical hot-spots… The Devils Triangle; Sedona, Arizona; New Orleans; Stonehenge; places where strange things just seem to happen. I never used to think much about any of that, I thought it all was all bunk, the work of fiction or an over active imagination (Maybe too much pizza before bedtime.). I never believed any of it before I moved to Seattle. Never thought any of it could be true until I bought a renovated condo in the Old Town Towers. But not even the things I saw there could prepare me for what happened underground. Now, I know things like ghosts and werewolves and such can’t exist. But what about that housekeeping woman that walks through walls, and one time walked right through me? Or that creepy pale guy in D5 who always smells like blood (or the woman beside him that always smells like garlic)? Strange howling sounds, terrified screams, disappearing pets..."

This game is MOSTLY AU. It's the trio's 7th year! You can play students, teachers, alumni or whatever you want. Incorporate the older alumni into the school however you want, or you can play them out of the school. The game is based on HET smut and relationships. The war is over, Voldemort is dead but Death Eaters and his supporters are still around and on the run. We like detailed writers even if it's a smutty game. The year is 1997 and the game will start on the 2nd of September when classes are getting started. Deaths from Deathly Hallows are void and all the characters are up for grabs. Yes, we have rules! Canon peronalities and relationships are required. While it's a smut game with some crack value, we want THAT canon touch. This means H/G, R/Hr, etc. If you don't like those, sorry. Play somewhere or someone else. Slash is banned.

It seems Torchwood Four, headed by one Major Charlie Sheppard, had a minor malfunction involving Cardiff's rift. In fact, Torchwood Four is located right near Torchwood Three, or at least it was until it and its team got pulled into another universe. Which is where Lucian Devereaux comes in. It seems that he got a hold of a Time Agent's vortex manipulator in the far future and has been using it at his own pleasure. Well, until it backfired and he was sent to the present and made the rift flux, sucking Torchwood Four into it. Luckily, Major Sheppard wasn't there at the time.
Now as for Lucian, he'd been jumping through time randomly and unwillingly as he tried to fix the vortex manipulator. During this time he realized that he'd jump from the present in Cardiff to some different point in time and then back. Along the way, he managed to bring back people with him who shouldn't be during that time, and that caused the rift to go haywire, also bringing people to the present that shouldn't be there: those that are dead, those who aren't born yet, and those in other dimensions. And so, Torchwood realized they needed to work extra hard to try and stop this and thus re-established Torchwood Four, somehow convincing Charlie to head it once more. And that is where we begin...
Ever at the ready is a Torchwood/Doctor Who RP that allows for any character from either series (old and new) to be incorporated, as well as original characters! It takes place around the start of season two. We've only just started and we're looking for a majority of the canon cast still, including The Doctor (any of them) and most of Torchwood Three. We're also looking for bad guys and aliens to be hunted down, as well as people to fill up the other Torchwood Teams. If you think you're ready, then we're ready to have you join the team!

Its been months now since President McCannials was elected. Since then, life for mutants has been growing more and more difficult. Left and right, mutants are losing their jobs. Left and right, mutants are being found dead. Left and right, mutants are losing their rights, their families, their homes, their lives.
A mutant hospital has been opened, known as "the New York Establishment of Mutantology", a testing facility for Mutantologists (that is, Mutant scientists) for better understanding of abilities, how they got them. Every day mutants are being taken into the hospital for testing, and some of them aren't making it out.
A drug has been created, for testing on the mutants. It is believed that the drug will put an end to the abilities these mutants hold. But not all mutants are being stopped. Some are dying from the side effects (however covered up by the Government), some are getting new abilities. The effects of this drug are widely unknown.
On November 15, 2020 - a flyer was sent out to every family in America, listing all the laws mutants were expected to follow. If these rules were not followed correctly, the mutant will be punished by hospitalization, or death.

If you love Harry Potter and future playing roleplay, check out darkest_secrets. We are a fun game with great players and friendly mods and would love to add some new characters, both school age and Alumni. We are extremely active and there are some pretty good plots going on. We currently have about 77 characters.
Right now what we are in most need of are people from the "good" side, Gryffindors and Hufflepuffs. The Slytherins and new Death Eater like regime need some characters out there to challenge them to make this a balanced game, otherwise evil is going to win hands down.

What if the Prophecy that made Harry Potter the 'Boy who lived' hadn't been given to the Dark Lord? What if a falsified Prophecy had been passed to him instead?
The year is 1995, When Harry, Ron and Hermione return to Hogwarts. A few changes have been made to the staff over the summer, the most noticeable being the new Defense Against the Dark Arts Professor; A Mr. Tom Marvolo Riddle. His new post is widely questioned by the wizarding world; The man has been convicted of murders throughout the seventies, why would Dumbledore hire him to teach young children? Dumbledore simply plays it off saying that he has applied "twice before". That he has not been able to be convicted of anything. Mr. Riddle has, after all, been studying abroad since the 1980's, and is very knowledgeable on his subject.

Simply put our goal for this game is to reenact the events at Hogwarts during Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. The games timeline will start in August and go all the way through the battle of Hogwarts. We will be building off of the known canon in order to keep the game going until the end, as you can judge by the last question on our application this game’s main focus will be on character development. Due to the themes of the book there will be ample situations in which characters will need to make choices. As Dumbledore said in Goblet of Fire: "Dark and difficult times lie ahead. Soon we must all face the choice between what is right and what is easy."

You wake up to the smell of smoke.
In the year 2008, a virus swept North America. Ever vigilant for a pandemic, citizens boarded up their windows, stockpiled their canned goods, and turned their neighbors in to the CDC. Short wave radios fell off the shelves, evacuation routes were prepared. Gas masks and specialty filtration systems were distributed. Pills were available for those showing early symptoms. Pills that did not work. That were later replaced with cyanide as their active ingredient. For those who were brave enough to put their fingers near a loved one's mouth. The United States, Canada, Mexico, the virus swept down into South America and festered in the heat of the jungle. In some places it burned out. Superstition ruled and saved lives. But nothing stopped the virus.
You wake up to the crackle of dead airwaves.
Three months after the first diagnosed case of Currere Excessum was recorded, NATO approved Great Britain's use of nuclear force against the United States. It was assumed that all organic material would be reduced to ash under the impact. It was assumed that the Quarantine of the Americas would be temporary, at best. Any who survived the blast would be given the highest in humanitarian attention and medical care. The only American emissaries who knew of the plan lay incinerated in Washington. The Quarantine continued. The Americas lay abandoned. Empty.
You wake up to the scratching sounds.
Except for the Nuclear Autumn. Some died in the blast, others didn't. The virus was resilient. The ash of the blast rose into the sky, infecting the atmosphere with darkness. Clouds rolled in to stay permanently. And the creatures came out in the permanent gloom. Any survivors were quickly swept into the clutches of their word nightmares. The twilight that came at midday would be the safest time for any to attempt to find rescue. If there was any rescue to be found.
You wake up in time to run.
Now, there is a matter of survival. The human race has been diminished to almost nothing, less than a percentile of its original population. The Hordes still linger, swarming in larger cities, feasting on the remains of those killed in the blast. But their preference is for live flesh. The land is scoured. Livestock and housepets, those that were not decimated by the blast, are killed instantly. Survivors start out alone, but they pick up others. Some they'd never trust. Some they must. Survival rates are higher in groups. The mission is survival: Feed, clothe, and keep moving before the Horde can catch up. Don't get sick. Don't slow down. And hope that one day, the Quarantine will be lifted.

It’s the beginning of the school year, 1997, when the first leaf falls to the ground. It was almost like everything was back to normal. The year before had become a distant memory as the students of Hogwarts returned to school with nothing to focus themselves on besides the every constant rumors that floated through the hallways, their social lives and, of course, actual schoolwork. Voldemort is gone, though some of his followers are still on the run or keeping to themselves to avoid attention. It’s almost as though it’s become another era, a happier one.
Without a war to worry about, the student body keeps itself busy by paying closer attention to the latest gossip or scandal going around the school, passing notes or sharing comments through their journals. New friendships and relationships are made, and Hogwarts has never been quite like this before.
Set in the trio's seventh year, RIDDIKULUS focuses on the school life and social interactions of the Harry Potter characters. We have a diverse cast, raging from those who thrive on gossip, to those who prefer to keep to themselves and their schoolwork, to the ones who love creating mayhem for the heck of it... and everything in between.
→ Following up where snoggers left off, this game is canon up until HBP with details of the end of the war from Deathly Hallows. Everyone deceased from DH are void and up for grabs.
