It is two years after the War, the ring has been destroyed, and now everyone is attempting to pick up the pieces of their lives and rebuild a new world based on peaceful co-existence. The Nine Walkers have gone their separate ways, some to their homelands, some to the world beyond this one, but all are still linked by the indestructible bonds of love and friendship. The world of Middle Earth is finally at peace, and all hope that it stays that way for a long time to come. That’s where you come in. How did the War affect you and your kind? Now, nearly two years later, AOM's characters have experienced the effects of Stilton's Disease, the Legacy Virus, the Mutant Registration Act, the Children of Isaac, the Friends of Humanity, and numerous confrontations between the X-Men and the Brotherhood. Now, they have to adjust to a brutal mutant takeover orchestrated by Magneto. The United States has been thrown into a period of turmoil that should mean a future of triumph and dominance for mutants, but with anti-mutant groups turning radical and violent, that may not be the case... ( More on the game's plot and politics ) In a world of change, a nation divided, do you strive for peace, or fight for freedom? ( restrictions ) Ages 17+ may apply. ( canon ) Movieverse (X-Men and X2 ONLY----game began in January 2006, prior to the release of X3) as a jumping-off point. I'd love to have a private game on aim or yim. Original slash is what I'm into. I dont require an application, but a writing sample would be nice. Here's a bit about me.... Username: triceybabe Preference: I like to original games. Very rare that I will delve into fandom rp's unless its Harry Potter. [11 Jan 2008|10:04pm] User: The year is 2003. Buffy, with the help of a goddess, two champions and a couple dozen slayers, has just stopped The First Evil's plan to unleash hell on Earth. Nineteen days later, in Los Angeles, Angel, having just taken over Wolfram & Hart, receives a yellow envelope from which Spike, presumed dead after sacrificing himself to aid Buffy and the Scooby Gang, appears out of. Buffy, who received word that Spike might be alive, enters the office to discover Spike not a minute after his return. Angel begins to wonder if Spike is simply a form of The First, his friends and employees are very unsure what is going on, and Scoobies and old foes alike are migrating to Los Angeles from all across the globe. Something evil is brewing, they can all feel it. Does it have anything to do with Spike's return? They are certain to find out. As to who, exactly, is behind it all, only time will tell... It could be The First or maybe even the mysterious Senior Partners that have been nothing but a bother to Angel throughout his years in Los Angeles. Or maybe it's simply a tiny Texan out for revenge. Then again, who's to say all of the above aren't working together in some sinister plot to make their next apocalpyse attempt stick -- for good.
