Banning from IP Addresses?
I'm not sure if this is the right place to ask, but is it possible to ban an entire ip address from your community, so that an ex-player can't just create a new journal and reapply for trolling purposes?

I do not have an answer to your question, but I do have a concern. If you blocked an entire IP and say everyone in one apartment building was using the same server and the same IP address wouldn't you be potentially blocking people that have nothing to do with it?

I do realize this is a highly unlikely scenario, though I did know a couple of people that used the same server and were repeatedly accused of being the same person because of the IP address issue.

There's a tip here for finding out whether two accounts are using the same email address, even if they have their email hidden on the character's journal. If you draw up the same number on the potential-troll as you have on the journal of the definite-troll it is without question the same email address.

Mind, it's pretty easy to create new gmail or hotmail accounts, but I always pray that the trolls will give up because it's a bother.
