Hello! First time poster!

I'm playing a steampunky game, and I wanted to know if there was a fun, easy way to set up code so my players could post telegrams to one another in game. Like, embed images of telegrams with text overlayed into a post.

For example: this as a background image, with a textbox over it that could be typed into with an old-timey all caps font.

Any help would be appreciated!

If you want something like this in this exact same size:
Just an old sweet song keeps Georgia on my mind

You can use this code:

Where "courier new" is the font and "#666666" is the font colour.

If you want your image bigger, change the width:400px;height:285px to what you want, but scale it according to the original image for best results (1600x1131). Making your image bigger you will also have to change the first width:400px and you may need to make adjustments to "padding:5px;width:340px;margin:125px 50px;" where margin:125px 50px indents your text down from the top by 125px and to the right by 50px, width:340px means that from the starting point of 50px across, your text will stretch 340px to the right (total of 390px out of the current image width of 400px).

Thank you thank you! I am tickled pink! This is perfect!

here it is as a template, and here it is in action -- I poked at making the picture bigger (your advice was so helpful!), code to make sure any text entered was in all caps and Courier, and the font color a little more dark brown, and it was JUST WHAT I NEEDED.

Thank you!
