Leave a comment here with a laundry list of fandoms that you want to see more RPs of, be it GPSLs or RPGs. The point of this 'survey' is to gather feedback of obscure fandoms, or fandoms that are popular or well-known: yet there are no RPs available for it. The reasons why could be because there is no obvious mainstream interest; there aren't enough fans; or it's considered 'old'.

I am interested in franchises, not plots/premises, ala high school settings, desert island, crossover and panfandom, e.g no one's melded fandom X with fandom B before!

Please do not include fandoms like Harry Potter, because that is a clear example of a 'popular, widespread' fandom. This post is not about finding more Potter RPs because there are not enough Quiddtich games, etc.

Seconding Final Fantasy IX- my favourite FF, and then VII. Nostalgia.

IX and VII are tied for my favorite -- part of me thinks IX would be my favorite if I didn't have such a nostalgic attachment to VII, but I've settled for letting them be tied because I don't even know. GUH, I love FF. Even if I have favorites, they all make me happy, and I wish there was more FF-specific RP. /laments

I play VII mainly for nostalgia; IX holds my interest more. VIII is a guilty pleasure, given a few aspects of the game (Rinoa, primarily). FFXII had a great world, but the politics, the villain and the half the main cast almost spoiled it. I'd play VI again, but the caves.. I find it really tedious to navigate VI's dungeons. >(

There used to be FF GPSLs around, but I don't know what prompted people to stop advertising FF..
