Apple Farm Character Profile










Apple Farm Chartacer Profile
Name: Apple Farm Character Profile
Type: Character profile layout.
Credit: [info]scatterbrained or [info]mary_greenman.
Additional Credit: Revidevi over at Etsy for their adorable clip art.

Features This character profile features rounded icons, transparent images and dives. There's also a spot for a GIF. Just plug in a 290x290 GIF and you're ready to go! It will resize/round automatically. You can also be lame like me and just use a png.

It's meant for a happy, friendly look and looks very good with colorful icons. It took me about 3 days to make, and I'm super excited to show it to you all! The background/sidebar images for the icons were made with Etsy clip art.

Hey there. I had a question. First off, let me just say that I LOVE this profile code. :) Second.. I'm actually trying to change the font of the name above the picture and every time I change the font name, it doesn't change.. I mean, I can use it but if at all possible is there any way to change it?

Second, try deleting the font-family CSS. Replace the FIRST LAST Section with this:

I'll try the code out when I get on the computer. Is that second block for my issue of the background image extending farther than it should? Or is it because I centered it? Or is that for something you noticed? Lol

lol it's for the icons. I noticed that they showed the black lines and thought it looked kind of intrusive for the design so I went back and fixed the image so that the icons could be moved/adjusted more readily. Does that make sense?

lol WBR is just a spacer code. I didn't put it in my code, so I'm not sure why it's there on your version but it basically breaks up a word when it doesn't fit into a page/section.

Gotcha! :D So, I couldn't get the font code to work out so I did the next best thing and made an image and stuck it in that spot. :) Thank you for trying though, and for the secondary code on fixing the black rings. Just one more question and I swear I'm done! Lol

What can I do about the stick image that is supposed to be holding the icons? It shot down the page, pas the ads and past the comment button..

For the stick image, you can delete a div section under the part titled Roadmap.

I was trying to set the fancy Mrs Saint Delafield from the journal title in my journal as the font for the first name last name in the the bio code and I don't think that font is compatible with the way it shows up in the code. So right now, I stuck an image of her name in fancy text in it's spot.

Ah, yes. Mrs. Saint Delafield isn't a web-safe font. You're better off using Cursive or something like that.

I have a question. To modify and use different clip art, how do I do that? Everything I've tried doesn't seem to work, I end up with only hald an image way down the page.
