is anyone else having a problem with firefox's downthemall add-on? i've never had trouble with it until this past week and now i can't seem to successfully download images because it keeps turning all pngs and jpgs into an html extension. it's really frustrating just because i know it was working and now it isn't.

similarly, does anyone know of any similar add-ons for chrome? it's really nice to be able to just download all of the icons of a pb in just a few clicks. then i can narrow it down, zip it and upload it through journalwatcher.

	I'm not quite sure, but I think it's not downthemall but photobucket which causes this problem. Well, I don't know a solution for this but there is "Download Master" for Chrome which is working well for me. (Reply to this) (Thread)

	ahhh, narcissa just posted on their icon journal about it, too. at least i know i'm not doing something wrong! still, all these photobucket changes are p.much just awful :\| are you able to specify a path using that extension instead of it automatically going to my downloads folder? thank you :) (Reply to this) (Parent)

	i'm not sure whether this still works because i haven't had to download any icons since photobucket updated but what i have always done is just right click, save the whole webpage, and delete everything but the icon files. it only takes about as much effort as using an image downloading add-on anyway (Reply to this) (Thread)

	I was having this trouble too. I used downloadthemall religiously, and since Photobucket switched up, I couldn't save icons. I gave save images a go, and it's been working fine for me. Good luck! (Reply to this) (Thread)

	Do you know of a way to stop 'save images' from breaking the icon links? I downloaded the add-on when downloadthemall stopped working, but now it shows all the icons as broken and I can't save them OR see them. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

I had this problem myself at first, and I realized it was because I hadn't adjusted the settings to include .jpg and .png images, it was configured only to save .gifs and .bmp icons. Did you check that? Here is a screenshot, just so you know what to look for. Once I checked them (save for the .bmp. They're pretty useless in my opinion, they just give you the tiny images from the site, like logos and such.) it seemed to work.

If that's not it, I'm honestly not sure. There don't seem to be any online forums or anything for it. I hope this helps!
