[Solved] Not Sure What's Happening, But...
I've run into a bit of a hiccup with a Scribbld layout and I'm hoping someone might be able to point me in the right direction to correct whatever error/mistake I did. The character layout has been tweaked to look like the character journal and the problem I've run into is that the webfont for all the headers is not showing up and I'm not really sure why since I haven't fiddled with the link one iota. So . . . I'm really not sure what's going on with it. :T

As far as I can see, you don't have these above the STYLE tags:

You need to embed the font for it to show up!

I double checked to make sure that I have the font coding above the style tag since it was late and sometimes people are prone to making mistakes when they're tired . . . :P But, I do have the font code above the style tag. For some reason, and I haven't the faintest idea why, it does not show up when you view the page source.

I know there's been some issues with scribbld and this but when I'm home later tonight, I can check it out for you!

I was beginning to think it was an issue with Scribbld. Also? You are awesome for checking. ♥

Okay! So someone can correct me if I'm wrong but I think scribbld doesn't allow specific CSS or anything in it so you'd have to embed the font directly. [info]tellthenight was correct; this method seems to work with scribbld.

I would recommend grabbing the bit of code from each font page (linked in ~esc's comment) and slip it in at the top of your style, before anything else.

So add this:

before your “::-webkit-scrollbar” selector. I know Scribbld allows linked stylesheets as I have used them before, but it might be tripping up over the fact that there isn't a .css file extension. (Don't 100% quote me on that, because it could be something totally weird and unrelated to the file extension. :/ Hard to tell sometimes.)

I know that adding the codes like I've put in the textbox here has always worked for me. I've never tried linking them externally.

I tried that and ended up getting this. It's just . . . so incredibly weird that the Google webfont works on one page, but not the other. I wonder if it's a Scribbld thing. :T

This may be a dumb question, but did you put it inside of the <style> tag? :/ I know that question may be a bit insulting, but I can't tell you how many times my own problems have been improper placement.

I did a viewsource and I'm not seeing the opening <head> tag... maybe try adding that in as well, unless it's in your code but for some reason not transferring to the page?

Otherwise, I'm not sure what to tell you.

Aw, that's not a dumb question at all. :3 And I just tried adding the code in the style tag and got the same results as the screen cap.

Oh well! I'm sure a solution will present itself sooner or later. :)

I checked it in both firefox and google chrome and on my laptop, they look exactly the same (table width and everything).

for the coding from google fonts to show up you have to have this in the <*head> <*/head> tags

The code is between the <head> </head> tags. For some reason, that particular snippet does not show up when you view the page source. I'm beginning to think it's a Scribbld issue/thing/whatever, lol.
