Just a question about the ff add on gmail notifier. For the past few weeks it has not been working. When I look it says "there was an error connecting to your account- please check your email/password and try again". Then when I try to put in my password it still says that. I should mention I recently upgraded to ff 8 (or whatever the latest version is), but it was happening before. Is anyone else having this issue? Thanks

It's been very very moody, it works for me on my work computer, but not my personal one. There are some hacks you can find on their page, but with the frequent FF updates, the maker has gotten frustrated with constantly editing it. You can try "Gmail Watcher" which has worked fine for me in FF8... but it's not half as convenient as notifier.

tl;dr: The above comment is pretty much useless :D
