I feel like this might be a question with an obvious answer, but I can't for the life of me remember how to do this.

How is it that you make text show up when your cursor hovers over an image? Like on some cast pages when you hover over a picture and a little text box shows up with the name of the character. I can't remember the code to do this, so I was hoping someone could help me out.

Thanks in advance!

I have, actually. And when I find myself imagemapping via PSP, they use ALT as the default mouseover text and my browser doesn't even register that! I use TITLE and save myself the the hassle though I guess if you wanted to be thorough you could just include both! AHAHA thank you!

Do you predominantly use Chrome, then, or Mozilla? I don't do much HTML these days, but you're spot-on for us vaguely neurotic types -- I totally use ALT and TITLE, because when W3 can't give you a straight answer, you may as well just resort to stupid levels of thoroughness.

Chrome, I'm afraid. I have compatibility issues between the two browsers that I'm only discovering now. Like something I code in Chrome will look completely horrendous in Firefox and I am now learning how to double check between the two! HAHA Yes, sometimes I just use both just in case. I do believe IE doesn't register the TITLE tag, but I'm not certain.

IE blows anyway, who still uses that dinosaur.

You'd be shockingly surprised. :T
