Okay, so, I'm having trouble finding a resource I once knew of. I don't know how or where I found it back when I did. It was probably about two years ago. It was a website, or at least a page on one, where the author of said site explains all the intricacies of "building" a realistic middle ages or medieval town when writing. Anywhere from size of the towns, to uses of castles, to social structure (whether they were near or far from their king), to fascinating jobs you'd never think of. One of the most amazing resources I've ever found.

All the Google searches I've done have left me scratching me head. If anyone knows of this resource or how to find it and could link me, I would be a thousand thousand times grateful. It's needed for the NaNoWriMo novel I'm working on right now.

Thank you!

I don't know the resource personally, but I'd suggest asking around in [info]flagstones. The historical rpers there might know!
