question regarding html characters.
Does anyone know a way to download updates for seeing special HTML characters, like the ones pictured here? I'm trying to figure out how I can see character such as a king's crown, cool-looking arrows, etc., etc. and all I'm getting are boxes.

So, in your browser, when you go to that page, all you see is boxes? If so, which browser are you using and what's the version? It's probably a bug.

All of them are boxes with the exception of the regular HTML characters. What I'd like to see are the special characters such as the king's crown in the title of this page or the blue star underneath the image of this post. From what I understand, it's some sort of window's update? But I'm not sure if that's the case and, if it is, I'm not sure what update it is.

Also, I am using Firefox, version 6.

Hmm. What version of Windows are you using? There has to be some sort of hotfix for it because you should be able to see them in all the latest browsers.

I'm using Windows XP, but I know that XP can handle it because my previous computer was able to those characters.
