S1 Overrides - Getting the most out of your GLOBAL_HEAD
I'm not saying these are all the tricks you can use, but here are a few tricks that I thought were pretty nifty.

Font Embedding
You want to use a super cool font or fonts as your default in your layout, but know that not every computer is going to have it? Here's a fix for you.

Replace the link to the source file for the font of your choice! There's a few sites you can find these on like Google Web Fonts. Basically, you can load as many fonts as you want, but the more you use, the longer your load time will be. Cool, right? Thanks to splott for showing me this one!

Favicon Embedding
Want to make Tweak go away in the favicon space??? Make a 32px by 32px or 16px by 16px pic (use a .png with transparency or .gif for best results!), change the file type to .ico and upload it online. Then, use this fix.

Voila! No more Tweak!

Title and Meta data
Want to give your journal a custom Title and Meta data (help out search engines!)? Here's some fixes.

Title
<title>TITLE GOES HERE</title>

Meta
<meta name="description" content="Your Description" /> <meta name="keywords" content="Your, Keywords" /> <meta name="author" content="Your Name" /> <meta http-equiv="content-type" content="text/html;charset=UTF-8" />

Any and all of these fixes should go in your override for GLOBAL_HEAD.

	I was just checking the Chrome forums and it looks like it's a known issue with Chrome. Additionally, it looks like they fixed it in one version, but it reverted back to the problem in the newest version. :/ (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

	Hm, I wonder if I have the version they fixed it in, then. I tried using another font before and it didn't work but the one I just tried did. Maybe that makes a difference! (Reply to this) (Parent)
