You can do a drop-cap-like effect using inline CSS, if that's what you mean? Like, you don't need an external stylesheet -- you can just code each individual letter that you want dropped. Use < span style="float: left; font-size: 34px; line-height: 30px; padding-right: 3px;" >, with whatever values you need to put in for the font size and line height depending on what size your text is and what your line spacing is, etc. You'll probably have to fuss with it a lot, but this is what mine looks like (with Georgia, size 10.5px, line height 15 px).
