Whats the RP etiquette on starting a game with a similar premise of a game you liked if that game has been long since dead? There was a game I was going to hold a character once upon a time but it closed the day after I decided to do so.

Any and all help is appreciated.

I do understand they put tons of thought into it. I'll more then likely put credit to the game in the AD, in the mod journal profile and either in the premise or FAQ.
