You seem to be referring mostly to PB in this reply, but I could be wrong. I don't think it works the exact same way in celebrity games. Also, coming into a game with someone, whether it be in a pre-made relationship or just having characters be friends is not an excuse to not talk to others or try and interact with them.
I've found some of the most unlikely friends for my characters even when I've gone into a game with a friend. Also, I've gone into games with friends with the intention of having a pairing, only to find out it doesn't work.
I firmly believe that mods need to step up and make communities more interactive. Group chats are one way to do that, yet so many communities don't even do something that simple. Or a group thread if you're in a thread based community. Pose a weekly question or something to the community that gets everyone involved. I'm so sick of mods who think there only job is to do adds and removals.
