Re: TWD: graham + clem
Oh, Lord. Graham rolled his eyes real hard when Clem remarked that Evie wasn't that pretty. Maybe Shane was inclined towards her like that, but he wasn't. "Don't like her like that," he told her, with a touch of exasperation. "How she looks ain't important." The mention of Marina made him pause some, and he wondered if he should ask after her son. He'd meant to check in before, see if his wish worked, but he'd never had the chance. Best not to bring it up now, though. He didn't really want to talk about wishes. "You think that's why Shane likes her? Or liked. Because she's pretty?" He never could keep straight what was current and what wasn't.
What she said about the world not ending, he had his doubts over. Maybe the end wasn't as nice or as clean as people hoped. When the dead outnumbered the living, how could the world be something worth saving? "Can't know that. Maybe this is just what comes after."
He could understand not wanting to die trapped. Hell, he always hoped he'd go out fighting when the time came. Never thought she'd say the same, though, and Graham gave her a long look before nodding. "Understand that."
