Re: TWD: graham + clem
Graham wasn't real big on talking, so the real casual comment about him and Evie talking some, that made Clem lift a brow right on up. She wasn't a jealous woman by nature, because that would take feeling insecure some, and she only felt that after Halloween parties. But time had passed plenty, and she wasn't crying over any damn man just now, and the thought that both Graham and Shane might be interested in that real mousey woman with the bad hair, that was silly as could be. "She ain't pretty," she said, incredulous, and that was just vanity in the middle of rotting things. She'd never claimed to be nice. "Least Marina's real pretty, if old some."
But the world hadn't ended a lick, and she gave him a look that said as much. "Honey, the world ain't ended. We're still here on this damn ride. World had ended, we wouldn't be suffering any. This ain't the world ending. It's something else entirely."
She watched as he looked at the window, and she figured he was set to argue with her some, but he didn't, and she nodded when he agreed with her. She could tie her shoulder up good, but she wasn't staying in this damn place. "Spent near a week in a cell before Shane found me, rotting things banging at the bars all hours and no way out. Got no interest in dying trapped. This place takes me, it's going to be fighting."
