Re: TWD: graham + clem
All Graham could do was hope that Jake got some sense and took what was being offered to him. Money hadn't ever mattered to him either, not in a while, but for different reasons; he'd just never needed a lot. Things were different now. He had Joy to think about, and even if they stayed with Clem and even if she had more money than she knew what to do with, well, he still wouldn't feel right not doing his part.
"Yeah, I forgot. You didn't want us there, you'd say." Somehow it was easier to smile out here, surrounded by the dead and with blood still under his fingernails. It felt a long, long way from everything real. As for 'Shane's women', he wrinkled his nose. "Evie was there," he said. Was she still at the house? He didn't know. "Don't think she'll be coming, if that's what you mean." Him, Shane, Clem, Evie and her kid-- yeah, he couldn't see that happening. It Elias enough to make him smile again, but it faded fast. Balance didn't help anything, because it was too late for that now and, anyway, he wouldn't have loved less even if he could go back. "Nothing to be done," he sighed. What was done was done.
