[Adjusting to not having his mom around was a strange experience for Scott, and he realized quickly there were so many things he took for granted. He had to do all the cleaning, shopping, cooking, laundry, and he was always willing to do chores and help her around the house before, but this was more than he expected. It made him miss her, not because he was lazy, but because he thought about her every time he put the groceries away or folded his clothes. It was so quiet at all times.
So when Stiles said he wanted to come to Scott's house from the hospital, he was relieved. No chance of it being quiet with his best friend around. Even if Scott was increasingly worried about his unstable emotions and shifting, but he only told Allison about that. Stiles had enough to worry about. He picked up Stiles from the hospital using his mom's car, since she wasn't around to use it, and they got a few things at the Stilinski house first.
Scott's arm was all better now. Sometimes he felt like he had a little more static electricity than normal, but it didn't hurt. Scott took Stiles' bags for him, because he just got out of the hospital, and also because guests. His mom raised him right. He was overly positive though because that was Scott, smiling bright and leading Stiles inside.]
You know it's almost like when we had sleepovers as kids. Where it'd be like several days in a row and we went nope not going home. [Their parents had the patience of saints.] I got a ridiculous amount of junk food. I almost feel like I should've bought a few bags of lettuce to make up for it, but ... not really.
