Here. [Her voice was muffled, hidden behind arms. Carol looked as though she came straight from the gym in sweats, a tank, and hair pulled back, but she was seated in the corner of two cabinets, knees drawn to her chest and arms crossed over her knees. Directly across from her was a smashed bottle. Even without the label, the distinctive design and brown glass would have given her away.

Still with her face tucked away in her arms, she drew in a slow, shaky breath.] I'm a piece of shit, Shar.
