Temporary sustainability. Just long enough for somewhere with a door. You know. Pushing the boat out.

It sounds strange. But also prosaic. Was it?

A boat? You're going to have to explain that one to me.

I'm not sure.

Metaphor. For wanting too much. Or making a lot of effort. It got lost. The metaphor. Not the boat.

Whether it was prosaic or not, it suited you?

I'm still confused.

I was good, I think.

I think that happens to people I talk to.

What parts of it were you good at?

It's nice. Usually I just... know. This is better.

The stuff you would expect. Organization. Filing. Paperwork. Phone support.

[Comprehension.] Oh. You mean [...] Good. So confusing is good. In this scenario. It doesn't help with understanding, though.

Yes. But people work at things because they suit them. Not the doing-things part. You could organize or phone-support any job. A paper company. What was it about the Company that made it fit?

Yes, that's what I mean.

[...] Extreme paperwork/support.

Extreme? What does that mean?

No.

High pressure. Very important. Lifesaving. Extreme.

High pressure. Yes. That would make sense. You're calm.

No. He's just putting me up. There's a room that keeps everyone out. You know, the other stuff out. And me in. So I'm using that.

Thank you.

Can't he help? Teach you. I mean. To control it? The room sounds good.

What happened to the rest of the Company? Are they all back there?

I didn't ask who they were. And there's no paper here. No writing. Besides. I wouldn't even if there was.

I'm not planning to report you to the government. Just to make that clear. As you're not in my head to see.
