Re: spidey kids: hotel/twd
[Gwen shook her head when Flash asked about abilities. No. Nothing, even if he meant an entirely different ability than the one she was currently in possession of, but that hardly seemed to matter when there was no ability whatsoever. She felt different, but she'd been feeling that way since the moment she was unable to alter the fabric of reality, so that wasn't particularly off-putting. She wasn't expecting anything from Harry, because she didn't realize the serum had affected him on a physical level yet, and possibly that was deliberate blindness, but Peter's agreement that his powers were gone cleared up the matter of abilities in this door as a whole.
She wasn't sure how panicked to be about that, so she concentrated on logistics. It also helped her avoid the fact that Harry was absolutely right; this silence was creepy. She pulled out her compass, and she started turning in a circle to determine direction, in order to better locate Mary Jane.] I don't think there's electricity. There aren't any ambient sounds, no televisions in the distance or radios. No cars either. [No people, but she didn't add that aloud.
She'd just finished her turn, when she saw him.
The little boy was behind them, maybe eleven, twelve years old. He was a dozen feet away, looking at them, and with the exception of the blood dotting the front of his button-down school shirt, he looked normal. He wasn't decomposed, there was nothing missing from him. He had am ambling gait, but he looked like a human little boy. No moans, no groans, nothing undead about him except that gait as he moved closer.
He was blond. His hair was still there, and he was blond with hazel eyes, and he looked harmless. Gwen stepped back instead of reaching for any weapon. He was just a little boy, and he was slow. He wasn't a risk.] Let's just move, okay? [That was to Flash, and her expression was very much don't shoot him, please.]
