I really have no explanation for the hotel yet, although a research project roughly involving that might be in the works. But the people within the doors are drawn in from different universes that are familiar or similar but not always the same. From different timepoints in the same universe. The strange part is that there are some doors where our existence was considered fictional. Comic books and movies, in our case.

Worlds conversely considered fictional here?

Yes. As far as I can tell every world here is considered fictional to another, and some of them are fictional in multiple others. [...] The strange part is there are doors you can go into and read our own material. Or material based off of us.

Are you telling me I could go into a Mickey Mouse universe?

Two things.

1. A Universe inhabited by Mickey Mouses?
2. Disneyland?

Because the first sounds a little creepy, but I could be good with it. And Disneyland is Disneyland so...

I didn't think this through.

It's okay I'm starting to question the sanity of the statement regarding being good with a Universe inhabited by Mickey Mouses.

There was a My Little Ponies door, I heard.

I like seeing new places, but I'm not sure about delving into that one.

It went over his head. I'm around enough scientists to know puns are lost on them a lot.

Sigh. Wasted opportunity once again. Maybe I should have said herd. Made it really obvious.

Not at all, just a general ouch to the situation. Sigh. Ah well, I can't do what he does either.

This might be a strange question, but did you have something named Extremis in your world?
