I do actually need to know what she thinks sometimes, Pepper. And I can't trust that, because Selina isn't the type of person who will tell you what's important and what isn't. I think her being direct is a sign that we're learning how to communicate better, even if it involves her telling me I'm an ass. Because it means she's trusting me enough to speak her mind and not hide everything behind flippant jokes.

I'm not the one who is going to walk away from the relationship, that's going to be her.

You need. What if she needed to tell you what's important rather than you trying to read it from her? She was direct because you weren't trying to work out what she was feeling or thinking. She had to tell you.

Bruce, that's not the point. You walk away from an argument when you need to, you walk away from something that will turn into words you don't want to say. Sometimes you walk away to keep it there for when you walk back.

	I'm not psychic. I can't read minds. Some people communicate through emotions and gestures, and some people communicate through words and thoughts. Selina is better at showing, I'm better at telling. This is something we've talked about before. She's tries to meet me half way a lot. I failed her by not doing the same, and I'm sorry about that.
