I've been humiliated once this week, why not relive it?

Art museum. Dinner. Skipped dessert. Felt me up the minute I got out of the car, then decided it was fun and he'd call me later. And left.

I've heard him say that a thousand times. I know exactly what it means and I'm not Rose, who phoned eight times before she gave up and I'm not Polly, who tried to get inside the building and got carried out by security. I'm done. And the best thing for all of us is to pretend I never made a fool of myself to begin with.
