I have been asking myself may questions lately. I've a lot of time to think, and sometimes my thoughts take strange paths.

For instance. What makes someone a friend?

Is it a shared experience? Something that two share in common? Perhaps it is something else all together that draws two people together into something called friendship.

But what happens if one of the two involved acts on... intentions that are less than pure?

Is it still a friendship? Or is it now simply a manipulation of another person?

Alright, so the most recent guy, we will call him... George. I meet him at the bar, because these days I meet everyone at the bar, where the hell else am I going to be. Anyway. I meet him at the bar, and he's Mr. Nerd Guy, lots of brains, going on about computer coolant systems like I've never heard of the concept of antifreeze. He has those Nicholas Cage crazy eyes, but who knows maybe the guy just needs some contacts, and he's falling all over himself ordering weak beer just to get my attention so on beer four that he doesn't actually drink I figure what the hell, and I give him my number.

First date we go out to this vegan cafe that he raves about, and when we are the he decides to tell me about how he just bought this brand new gun and no one appreciates recoil rates or some bizarre thing like that. Then he tells me he lost his job because he brought one to work just to show a coworker and, I don't know, I imagine this dude in the server room with Cage Crazy coming out to show somebody his new glock and I'm not exactly feeling warm and cuddly about the situation.

Anyway long story short he starts on his NRA tirade and halfway through that he asks me to spot him on the check and that's when I left. The food was disgusting.
