Re: Log: Faol's Apartment: Selina/Faol
[If Selina wanted to steal from him? She wouldn't need an invitation. She leaned against the wall, beside that closed bathroom door, and she felt him press forehead to wood. She couldn't help but chuckle, because he was nearly fearless, a killer, and he was hiding from a kitten.
Said kitten had followed her, and was currently winding itself around Selina's shins, adoration and marking her with fur and scent, and Selina missed the days when she was surrounded by cats. Oh, she still picked up the odd stray, but she'd been too transient for any real digging in of claws, settling and making a home, and that was another one of things weighing heavy on her mind.
What came next?
But the man behind the door sighed, and Selina's attention snapped back to the room, to the present.] She's at my feet, and she promises not to attack you. [The cat had done no such thing, of course, but Selina had complete faith she could handle any altercation that might arise.]
I'll make sure to play salary hardball, you know, if I need a job in a comic book store at some point in the future. [She rapped once on the door with her knuckles, slow and lazy.] Come on out, hero.
