I get you. When things are really bad, you do all that grabbing moments shit. It was like that for me a few years ago. Things were bad, and there was this really dangerous ass around killing ppl, and all the sex I had then was like rushed manic stuff.

Now that things have calmed down we need to make time for those things. We don't have a constant excuse to talk, yeah? So we have to reach out more.

I need to believe in it and its purpose. I need to feel down in my bones that there's nothing I can do that's more valuable than what I am doing. The war, and even afterward, putting together something to protect and perceive threats to preserve an ideal, I believed in that. I have no doubt that is what Steve believes he is doing, but I need to believe it, for myself.

Not just because I love him.
