They were snuggled down in the hammock he'd fashioned for them, nestled under a blanket made from coats. It was far from ideal, but it was a lot better than trying to sleep on the ground. Young as he was, his back just couldn't take it.
He smiled at her in the haze of sleep, and brought a hand up to finger her hair. "It's going to be daylight soon," he said. "We should think about getting up, and get moving."
