Happy with that answer, Lydia took a deep breath and let out a satisfied sigh, closing her eyes in a slow blink as fingertips finally stilled on his chest. "Then I should probably mention that I've been on birth control consistently for a couple years...and we can forego the additional contraceptives in the future," she replied casually, pointing her toes beneath the blanket to stretch her legs.

"...one of us should get up and check our phones, shouldn't we?" she asked, while still making no effort to actually do so, nor do push him to.
