"In certain other situations I'd tell you too bad, kid, talk about it anyway." Cindy admits, not pulling her hand back just yet because much as she denied it while that demon was in him, she does feel like he's one of her kids.
"But in this case I'll make an exception." Cindy doesn't push him, only because she is afraid of pushing him too far. She's seen what possession has done to others, the havoc it's wreaked. She doesn't want Peeta to end up like some of those others, and unfortunately, he's obviously still suffering. That pisses her off because she wants to be able to fix it for him, to take it from him. He doesn't deserve this.
She pulls her hand away, only to pick her glass up and toss it back. "Wish I could fix it for you, make it better." Escapes her lips before she can keep it from coming out, giving a glare at her glass. She didn't realize she had quite that much of a buzz going on.
