"Sounds good," Derek said, pulling his phone out of his pocket and turning it to silent. It was already blowing up with text messages and phone calls with everyone wanting to know where he was going and who the girl was he was with. He had no interest in telling them anything until absolutely necessary.
He was one of those people who preferred driving over being a passenger, but given that he already trusted Judith to drive his vehicle, he was able to lean back in his seat and almost relax. "I could go for some coffee."
Who were her people, he wondered. Did they know she was keeping company with a werewolf? He supposed it didn't much matter as long as they didn't come after him.
