Sighing heavily, Derek rolled his eyes when the approaching deputy came to let her out instead. "You've gotta be fucking kidding me," he grunted, annoyed, as he moved away from the bars so that they wouldn't think he was trying to make a run for it. Because, after all, they'd already proved themselves incredibly intelligent by not bothering to check who the lot belonged to before arresting him for indecent exposure and trespassing. Or maybe they just hadn't realized that one cannot exactly trespass on one's own fucking property.
His eyes shifted back to Sara and he lifted his eyebrows. "Sounds good," he replied, even though he wasn't entirely sure he'd bother, regardless of how attractive she was. "Hope you find what you're looking for," he added, also not entirely honestly.
