Lexa had known the true identity of the Wanheda the moment she'd heard about the bringer of death. She hated the politics that went into being Commander of the 12 Clans, but the power and influence she carried sometimes made it worth the aggravation.

This? Was one of those times. She had successfully manipulated Prince Rowan of the Ice Nation into bringing the Wanheda to her. She found Clarke to be just as defiant, just as brilliant and strong as Lexa remembered her to be.

Losing that alliance had been her only regret in taking the deal with the Mountain Men. She cared not about the Skai People as a whole, but that one, Clarke, she was special. And now Lexa had her, once and for all.

There were complications, of course. But Lexa couldn't get distracted by all of that. She would trust Titus to handle anything that came up, for she had given him strict orders not to interrupt her. This was her time, alone, with Clarke.

Ever since coming to the Ground, Clarke had found sleep to be fairly elusive. She supposed it was a natural thing when you were constantly on guard and fighting for your survival. Sleep left you vulnerable and being vulnerable was a good way to end up dead.

Tonight, though, after Lexa swore fealty to her and the Sky People officially became the 13th Clan, she managed to sleep well in spite of the oncoming war with the Ice Nation. Despite her hesitancy to trust Lexa after being betrayed in the Mountain, she didn't have many other options to keep her people alive. They already lost too much when the Ice Nation took out the Mountain.

It surprised her to wake up and find Lexa next to her. She couldn't deny that there was an attraction between them, but giving into that attraction was a distraction she couldn't afford.

"Lexa? What are you doing here?"

It was the night of the lunar eclipse and she'd fallen asleep next to her friend Teddy. They were drunk. So so very drunk. It's the one night she can get drunk, so she took full advantage.

When she woke up, she wasn't next to Teddy, though. She was next to another familiar scent. She shoots up, pulling the blankets close to her body which she realizes now is just covered with her bra and panties.
"Shit."

This was the first time? She can't remember most of the night and judging from the way he's passed out, he probably won't either. She slips out of the bed and goes to find her nightgown that's draped carelessly over the edge of the motel couch. On her way, she steps on a piece of paper. She stops to pick it up, not bothering to cover up her mostly covered body on account of him still being asleep.

...Wait... what?? She thought to herself as she read the paper... or she meant to think to herself, she actually just happened to say it out loud. She runs over to Alex and shakes him awake.

"Alex. Alex, wake up!"
