Taking a bite of her first slice, Judith nodded. There was a pause while she finished the bite and then she spoke. "I don't mind. You're all right," she said and, although the words of the sentiment themselves sounded indifferent, the tone delivered them warmly enough to suggest that all right was Judith's typical way of saying that she liked a person.
She was quiet, mostly, until she finished what she had and then she took a long pull off the soda can. "What do you do when you ain't gettin' your ass kicked by chimera or hangin' out down in South America?" she wondered, a little smirk playing at her lips.
