A little smirk tugged at the corners of Judith's mouth. "I was wonderin' when you was gonna do that," she admitted playfully.
Judith didn't like people, on the whole. Most of them just pissed her off or she had written off as stupid and closed-minded or downright terrible for their indiscriminate practices in the hunting realm. Derek was a perfect example, from what Judith could tell so far, as to why there needed to be less "off with their heads!" mentality in so far as which supernatural beings should be left alone and which should be neutralized. He wasn't hurting anybody, he seemed like a nice enough guy, and he was fighting the good fight right beside her, if what he said was true about coming back to help with the chimera.
There were supernaturals who needed to be taken down, Judith didn't like it, but it was what it was. Some people were a bigger threat than they were worth. Some of them needed to be put down.
...but supernaturals like Derek, from what Judith could tell so far, they weren't it.
"Glad it's feelin' better. You gonna be able to work good as new once it's set or you gotta rest up some still even after? I don't know how all that stuff works, I'll admit."
