Judith smirked a little. "You sure I can reach the pedals, big guy?" she said playfully. She happened to excel at a) not giving a shit and b) finding levity in most situations, even if it was sometimes less than appropriately timed.
Pushing herself upright from leaning against his car, she moved closer to Derek again in case he wanted the human crutch to get himself to the front passenger seat. Rather than push that point, though, Judith held a hand out for his keys and figured if he wanted help, he'd say so.
