Eva chuckled a bit and shook her head when Jake proclaimed his love for the cafeteria. "Not today, no," she answered almost seriously. The cafeteria here was pretty awesome, and they had set it up so that the kids who actually lived here as civilians had to pitch in by doing shifts at the various jobs that needed to be done around the complex. Mostly, it was a matter of convenience - it kept prying adults out of the mix, but a side benefit was that some of the jobs required a set of skills that could be useful in the real work world.
And because of the civilian/League mix, the secret ID thing had gotten a little... complicated. Meetings of the League were strictly masked-only, and so was on-duty time. However, it was unreasonable to expect people who lived here to go around masked (though call names were encouraged). Thetis was high on the wanted list, so Eva always made sure to keep her identity concealed as much as possible - changing between costume and civies when she was alone; covering up her gills and webbed fingers was more than just timidity now. It could save her life.
Eva liked the selection of food that was generally served here, but her fall back was either the pizza bar or the pasta bowl, to which she added a great deal from the salad bar. Today was a pasta bowl day, so off she headed to grab her pasta and sauce, and then toss in all those veggies she loved. Once they both had their meals and were seated, she asked, "So, you want to go biking this weekend?" And by biking, she meant she would bike so he wouldn't have to go slow. She'd gotten pretty damn good over rough terrain; though, there were still plenty of spills. She always wore a helmet for that reason.
