He rubbed at the back of his neck when she asked that question. "Um.. well.. kind of since our first meeting. It was.. really distracting to sit there and stare at you, knowing who you were." He smiled a little then, though. "I knew you'd eventually wake up. The last time things were forced, well, I was pretty sure I almost drowned Poseidon." Not that Poseidon could drown, but, maybe the mortal body could have? He looked down for a moment then shrugged. "I'll just say a very long time." He wasn't sure. He knew a few thousand, though. Which, was a lot to think about.
Zeus took a deep breath, nodding again. "Alright, then. You said: Time will stop. Where once there were thousands, now there will be silence. The madness of one will become the sorrow of many." He was silent after a few minutes, thinking it over. It didn't take Apollo to figure out that something bad was going to happen to a lot of people. But, well, what that thing was? They'd probably only know when it happened.
He smiled a little, though. "I promise to be on my very best behavior, Themis. I.. well. I'm not the same Zeus I was back then. I swore to Styx that I would be faithful to Hera." And, you know, he still didn't take that very lightly at all. "But, had I not? I might not have been able to make that promise to you." She was just as beautiful now as she had been then, after all.
