"How long have you known I was... me?" Themis rubbed her eyes a little and swallowed, finding her mouth to be utterly dry. Reaching for her water, she sipped at it. It helped some, but not with the headache. "This is insane. Utterly insane. How long... no. Nevermind. I can figure out how long I was gone." It seemed impossible that thousands of years had gone by and she'd, what? She'd slept.
She drank some more water and put her hand to her head, giving it a little shake. "I'm ready. You have to tell me what I said now before you forget it. I don't think I'm as good at interpreting things the way I once was, at least not yet, but we have to try."
Themis sat up and pulled out a notebook and pen, preparing to write down whatever it was that Zeus repeated to her. "This is very odd, by the way, to remember you as my student and my... husband." She gave him a light smile. "I promise not to seduce you during office hours or anything like that if you can promise to keep your hands to yourself."
