I have a very bad feeling about this...

A little birdie told me that it was your birthday, love. I thought I'd offer a chance at a drink and maybe decent company.

What is this place? Hello? It smells like death and blood here.

And exactly what is this? Little witch, what have you done now? Being trapped in her house was not punishment enough I guess, right?

Never pictured my 21st to be during the zombie apocalypse.

We can't spend 100% of our time dealing with all the nonsense happening out there. So I took it upon myself to pick up some things for relaxing with.

To that end, I have

- emptied a good number of shelves of the first bookshop I found. I lifted a number of different fiction authors along with a load of DIY books and craft books and survival manuals and the like.
- grabbed a Wii and an armful of games and controller things. (If you challenge me at Mario Kart, I will end you. Rainbow Road is my favourite track. Just saying.)
- picked up a load of DVDs, again with varying different film genres, TV box set things, sports etc.
- Grabbed as many packs of cards as I can, along with a set of poker chips. I've also got some chess sets, a handful of other board games and some bizarre thing called "Angry jenga star wars birds" or something.
- made note of a craft shop which I will return to once I get something to eat, if people would be kind enough to let me know what they would like.

Carl and Sophia, I have suitcases for you both.

I'm on my way back to the apartments now, so can there be a few people ready to help me empty my new pickup truck? Cheers!

Has anyone seen Laurel recently?

No more of this doing our own thing. If there's walkers, or anything else, headed our way we gotta prepare.

Seems like Arthur and Eames are seeing to supplies. I reckon we oughtta set up official security patrol teams and shit. If you got an interest in working that angle, let me know, yeah?

There's not really any way to say this without raising alarm, but for those of you who may have recently arrived, or hadn't heard yet, there was a Walker found in the woods last week. So far, it has been an isolated sighting, but as Arthur has previously stated, we have no way of knowing what else is out there, outside the barrier. Given the fact that our hosts have actually provided us all with zombie handbooks, I believe we need to be prepared for the probability that there will be more. Anyone who has experience with weapons, and is willing to train those who do not, your expertise would be greatly appreciated.

For those of you unfamiliar with the term "Walker," I'm referring here to walking corpses, or zombies as they would most commonly be called. Not the giant mechanical camels from Star Wars. I've heard a few other names for them, but in my experience, Walkers are easily identifiable by their shambling gate, their lack of human speech, their rotten stench, and their mindless lust for raw flesh. If you see one, do not let it get close enough to bite or scratch you, or you may become infected and turn into one of them. Where Daryl and I are from, the walking death is cause by an ideological pathogen, and there is no known cure. The only way to kill a Walker permanently is to destroy the brain.

I would ask that everyone stay indoors after dark, and keep your houses or apartments secure. Oh, and disregard my previous warning about not spooking the locals. If we can convince them that this real and present danger, maybe we can save a few of their lives.

I think I'd like to do some exploring and I was wondering if anyone would like to come with me.


I just don't trust whatever out there for me to go out alone.

This has all been very entertaining, but if you excuse me, I need to get back to Starling City, now.

Seems like there's a few of us here, ain't got no idea how we got here or nothing.

Way I see it, we ain't gonna do ourselves no good if we don't try and work together and figure this shit out. I ain't no leader, but I been part of a group for a while, and I know it don't work to try and be the lone hero.

So, I'm askin' for a head count. Ain't lookin' for no personal information. Just your name, maybe where you was before, and if you got any survival skills.
