Sherlock wasn't entirely sure how to take the Doctor's reaction to recognising his name. For all intents and purposes, he was dead, but then he supposed if physics had decided to take a vacation he shouldn't be too surprised that this man knew things most people didn't. Really, so long as John, Molly and Lestrade stayed as far from Cardiff as was possible there was very little for him to worry about.
"Why? When are we?" It was, perhaps, an odd sort of question, but one he felt the need to get used too in present company. He didn't quite have the Doctor or the TARDIS figured, but he hadn't had too much time to examine either. He followed the other man out out of the craft and took a moment to examine him properly.
Good coat, impressive gravity-defying hair, sensible shoes and -- oh, that was interesting, but he had to be sure. Holmes furrowed his eyebrows and stepped forward to grab the Doctor by the wrist, pressing two fingers against a vein. "You have two heart beats."
