He knew it was her before she even made it to the gazebo, and whilst he wanted to be alone he was glad it was her rather than several alternatives.
He didn't argue or pull away when she rubbed the towel over his hair, pulling it around his shoulders so it didn't fall off once she was done. Once she sat beside him though, it was all he could do not to completely fall apart. He lay his head on her shoulder, eyes pressed shut. He didn't want to act like a petulant child in front of her.
