What he'd seen from the 'previews' (a concept which made him wonder why real life couldn't have previews or anything like that - prepare them for what road they were going down if things went sour), Bobby was going to do something extremely stupid. While a really, really big part of Sam didn't want to know if Bobby was going to die, he knew that he had to. Bobby had been a shell of himself, though. So, while Sam didn't want him to die? He knew that at that point, anything he could do to save the world, he'd do.
The rest of it, though...part of him wondered what was going to happen. When he'd left, he'd known that he didn't want to say yes. He wanted to tell Lucifer where to go and exactly how to get there, but he also knew that a lot had changed. A lot had changed, even in the short amount of time that he'd been here at Ridgeway. Swallowing nervously, he walked up to the Activities Center, nodding and smiling when he saw Claire, and feeling his smile turn to a smirk when he saw the beer in her hand. She was a smart girl.
"Okay, so, before we go into all the sordid details? I really want to thank you for doing this. Because half the time, I didn't want to know what was going on in my life. So for you to do it? I really appreciate it..."
It was true, too. Sam was watching his life as an outsider now, and he could definitely see how it would put anyone else off. It was seriously putting him off, too. And it was his life. But, with that out of the way, there wasn't much else to say, except for the truth. He leaned against the wall beside her and looked straight ahead.
